Our experienced team of professionals have designed and built letters, numbers and signs for businesses large and small across the UK. From bars, restaurants, schools, colleges and universities to hotels, offices, festivals, event companies and much more.

Here are some of the projects that we have worked on.

Stainless steel, wall-mounted and free-standing BARN letters.

Date: March 2019

Our client, a global tech company, was looking to update their shared office space and wanted a more rustic feel. We collaborated with the design team in the USA to create bespoke designs and handcraft these 2ft Stainless steel letters. These letters were then delivered by us to their two offices in York & Maidenhead in the UK.

Large, light up LOVE Letters

Date: November 2018

After seeing our light-up LOVE letters at an event we were asked by an event décor company to build them their own set of light-up LOVE letters. These light-up letters were 4ft tall and made from wood. Each letter was individually handcrafted in our workshop and delivered to their door.

Large, light-up Aluminium BANKSIDE letters for outdoor use.

Date: Aug 2019

Hilton Hotels asked us to design and build large, illuminated BANKSIDE letters to be displayed outside their London Bankside hotel. We custom-designed these enormous light-up letters in collaboration with the Hilton team. After meticulously crafting each letter out of aluminium and painting them white, we added more than 130 diamond-shaped LED lights. To guarantee that every letter was robust, custom feet were made. We provided all the fixings and personally delivered the letters.

Large, light-up JOY letters

A London-based church asked us to design and manufacture some giant, light-up JOY letters to stand inside their church for their festival and celebration of JOY. These light-up letters were 5ft tall and made from wood and steel.

Large, light-up UWE letters painted in brand colours

The University of the West of England asked us to manufacture two sets of our Hollywood-style light-up UWE letters. These were built from wood, one set was painted white and the other was painted in their brand colour. These light-up letters have been used for celebrations and events across the University including freshers week, graduation and award ceremonies.

Barbie Photo Booth

Along with creating and designing illuminated symbols, numbers, and letters. We are occasionally asked to apply our knowledge and expertise to produce something unique. Following the delivery of our large, light-up letters for hire to The Treehouse, a restaurant and bar located in Hull. We were asked to design and construct a Barbie photo booth. The Ray of Light Letters team designed, built, painted, and delivered the Barbie photobooth.
